All Time Low Just Released The Album Of The Year
All Time Low released their tenth studio album (or ninth if you consider 'Put Up Or Shut Up' an EP) called 'Everyone's Talking' today, and it might just be the album of the year. And I know what you're gonna say: "Knock it off, Robbie. We all know that All Time Low is your favorite band and you're extremely biased and you're gonna call anything by them the second coming of Christ." - and that MAY BE TRUE, but I really mean it this time.
This is simply an incredible pop-punk/pop-rock/alternative rock album. Banger after banger, every song more catchy than the last, with the most mature lyrics and tone the band has put to record. The riffs are tasty, the drums are monstrous, the features are unexpected (but fit like a glove) and there's not a single weak spot across fifteen tracks. It's the perfect blend of every era of the band and feels like they have nailed down what makes a great All Time Low song now more than ever, which is pretty fucking insane considering they're twenty years into their career. Most bands in the genre get worse with time, and they only get better. There's a reason they've sustained the longevity they have, though - All Time Low is constantly pushing their sound forward while never losing sight of what fans want from them.
God it feels good to have a new album to love from your favorite band.
