The Belichick-Jordon Hudson Romance Has Inspired the Greatest Halloween Display in History
Romantic love is, without a doubt the most powerful force on Earth. In equal measure it can save your life and make you want to end it. It can bring out the very best in the human spirit, and yet has been known to start wars. The Trojan War for one. And WWI was escalated when Austrian General Franz Conrad von Hötzendorf actually lobbied Emperor Franz Joseph to allow him to attack Serbia on the hopes it would make him a national hero so he could then be with married aristocrat Virginia von Reininghaus. There is almost no limit to the things romance can do to the soul, both good and bad.
But at its best, love inspires great works of art. And this Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson-themed Halloween display is no exception. If the Louvre had a wing dedicated to Front Lawn Halloween Motifs, this would be the one patrons of the arts would line up for. The cleverness. The attention to detail. The fact each tableau is perfect, from the color of the mermaid fish tail on Skeleton Jordon to the exact style of Skeleton Bill's fisherman raincoat. The towel on the iconic Beach Yoga is the exact same one they used on the sands of Nantucket. And putting Jordon in the hedges the way she was behind the desk when she hijacked the interview? Chef's kiss. 10/10. No notes. You can practically hear "He's not talking about this" coming from her skull.
The competition for Halloween is always tough, whether it's how you decorate to how you dress. We've all been that lazy slob who halfasses a costume. And we've all been that homeowner who just throws a pumpkin on the front porch and calls it a day. And when you're that guy and see someone who was inspired to come up with a great idea and executes it to perfection, whether it's on their back or their lawn, you have to be gracious and magnimous and simply congratulate them on a job well done.
So kudos to this anonymous homeowner. Everyone else, we're all fighting for second place. This display just retired the trophy for Halloween 2025.
