'JuJu Needed His Ass Whooped' - Colts LB Zaire Franklin Thinks JuJu Smith-Schuster Is An 'Asshole', Loved Everything About Brian Branch Punching Him On Sunday

We all know what happened by now. Brian Branch had enough of JuJu Smith-Schuster and decided to quite literally take matters into his own hands. A little postgame kerfuffle with a punch that led to a suspension. However, one person who is willing to defend Brian Branch doesn't even play for the Lions. Colts LB Zaire Franklin thinks Branch did the Lord's work:

[Source] - "JuJu needed his ass whooped," Franklin said. "Let's just go there ... He's been needing his ass whooped for a minute. Brian Branch is doing the work of the Lord."

"[Smith-Schuster's] an asshole, bro," Franklin said. "This is my thing, I'm gonna talk greasy to you. We gonna go right up. And when we get that one-on-one, I ain't gonna duck the smoke. So if I win or lose, it is what it is. He the type that's gonna do all the little weird, sneaky stuff, push you behind the back, go run to the ref ... then try to be cool with you after."

Guess Franklin isn't a fan of TikTok too. Hilarious to see the Lord's work there when it led to a bunch of annoying debates and people trying to pretend to be mad about this. It's clear Franklin caught a cheap shot at least once in his career from JuJu and this is his way of thinking it's all fair game now. I love it. Why hide your thoughts? If you're a player in the league and you think someone deserves to get their ass kicked, talk about it. It's far from the first time or last time we'll hear something like this but it's something that's always needed.

Now, I did take a look. November 23 the Colts head to Arrowhead. If there's not a skirmish none of this matters. You can't say someone needs their ass kicked, play each other a month later and not have a brouhaha at the minimum. I'm not asking for a brawl but JuJu needs to stand up for himself now and Franklin should be running his mouth. I'll speak for myself and that will me know the Colts are for real. I can't fully buy into them yet, but if they are still winning games and getting into fights with the Chiefs in November, move them up in Big Cat's computer power rankings.

I want Franklin vs JuJu to have the feel of Odell vs Josh Norman, Andre Johnson vs Cortland Finnegan or Aqil Talib vs Michael Crabtree, one of those individual matchups that you knew was just going to turn into a fight at some point. Bring back big boy football and it starts with a couple ass kickings.
