THIS LEAGUE Returns: Amen Thompson And Jose Alvarado Got In A Fight During A Meaningless Preseason Game

Listen, I don't know much about the NBA this season other than the Lakers are a shoe-in to win a title in Year 23 for King Bron. But what I learned last night is that there are two other DAWGS in the West. If you ask me, throwing some hands in preseason should actually be celebrated that you're a team that is already locked the fuck in. Kevin Durant's Rockets might actually be a problem this season. I will say that the caption is slightly over-exaggerated by Legion Hoops there, because if you count that as throwing punches then I'm not sure what you call an actual brawl.

We gotta talk about Amen Thompson, who is legitimately the evil twin of Ausar. This is a great comparison of the two:

Amen's been in multiple fights in his few seasons in the league, and Ausar is playing for Detroit and a calm fella who loves to smile. Some people are saying he needs anger management classes, I say he's welcome on the Lakers anytime he wants out of Houston. Even his brother knows he's an aggressive fella:

And then in typical KD fashion, he hopped on Twitter right after the game and went at Evan Turner, who was criticizing Amen for "fighting a welterweight":

You could give me a million guesses to what Evan Turner was trying to tell KD there when he said "the other route" and I still wouldn't know. Confusing conversation is an understatement there. Feels kinda mean to call Jose Alvarado a "welterweight" but he's a scrappy point guard who could play on my team any day.

We're only a week out from the best league in the planet returning and that includes all the drama that comes with it. Inject THIS LEAGUE into my veins.

P.S. Skinny Zion is gonna be a problem.
