I Want The Plot Of The New Sam Raimi Movie To Happen To Sas And Francis
Two colleagues become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it's a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
To give a quick reaction to this actual trailer, I like it! Few people have as distinct a touch on horror as Raimi, I've firmly been on the Dylan O'Brien is underrated train and Rachel McAdams is obviously great. The concept, however, is what intrigued me.
If you've followed along anything with Son of A Boy Dad lately, you know things are getting to a tipping point between Sas and Francis lately.
After watching this trailer, there is nothing I want more than for these two to be trapped on a deserted island together.
Picture this:They're flying together to do a show. For some reason, they have to cross the Pacific. SoaBD very popular in Indonesia and they're playing the Jakarta chuckle hut. All of the sudden, BAM, the plane goes down. Francis and Sas both survive despite not sitting in the same section (Francis is behind the wing in the 40's). What happens now?
I think that, at first, they would work together. Sas loves fishing enough that I think he could keep them afloat for a while. Francis strikes me as a guy that probably watches a lot of survival-themed content to emotionally feed on the desperation of people like Bear Grylls and Les Stroud. This sort of adrenaline-fueled honeymoon phase would eventually wear off, though. What happens then? Francis has been chasing the forbidden fruit of Sas's friendship for years now. Once he not only has it, but is gorging himself on it, how long until he is sick of it? This is the point in which I believe Francis would stop seeing Sas as friend, and start seeing him as food. Thinking of how he could catch those fish himself. Remembering all the times a text to hang was ignored. Reminding himself of the practices of the great men in ancient Greece.
I say all this to plead with Sas. Make sure you fly solo, brother. Borrow Dave's PJ for your southeast Asia tour.
