The Giants Turn A Terrible Philly Night Even Worse By Shoving Cam Skattebo Down The Eagles Throats
Well that was an absolutely fantastic night of sports! I refuse to use an Office gif in the year 2025. But after witnessing the horror of the Mets and the Giants over the last few months, I really do feel like Kevin when he said it just feels nice to win one. The fact the one came at the expense at my biggest sports rival city having an all-time nightmare in the process make that one win taste that much sweeter, even though the craziest Mets/Giants gypsy fans would admit this is a BRUTAL watch no matter who you root for.
This was the moment I knew the Giants could win the game, even if they already had the lead.
Jaxson Dart continues to pump the aura or moxie or whatever the fuck you want to call it and can even move the ball as long as the front office gives him receivers who aren't fucking duds. Cam Skattebo has somehow lived up to the physicality that comes with wearing Ahmad Bradshaw's number 44 and can only be stopped by the blue tent since i'm pretty sure he would fail a concussion test even when fully healthy. Luckily we don't have to worry about that now, which causes incredible moments like this:
The defense did their job by keeping the Eagles meh offense at bay by not letting Saquon run wild on them yet again while also forcing Jalen Hurts to make plays like this:
I'd like to bet 8 green tea shots that Meek Phill wrote that caption
The Giants had a chance to win last week in New Orleans and decided to puke all over themselves instead by committing turnovers on FIVE possessions in a row. Tonight they brought the fight to Philly while their leader kept things loose as he continued to drive them down the field.
Speaking of 6, I am BEGGING Brian Daboll to move Jameis to backup quarterback and put Russ as the emergency quarterback or waivers. Every single time Russ enters for Dart, he immediately has the worst play of the game. It's over, he's washed, get him the fuck off the team before he has a chance to fuck up a game since Jaxson Dart isn't going to slide nearly as much as he should.
You know what? I am just going to stop there and keep the positive vibes flowing because the Giants won, the Phillies lost, and tomorrow is a rare Victory Friday for everyone in blue.
