Timothée Chalamet Has Been Secretly Bringing Ping Pong Tables Around The World For 7 Years To Prepare For 'Marty Supreme'
Today in Timothée Chalamet going above and beyond for his roles: apparently this guy has been taking ping pong lessons and sneaking tables around the world, from movie set to movie set for the past SEVEN YEARS to prepare for his role as a professional ping pong player in 'Marty Supreme'.
Now that's pretty impressive by itself in my eyes, but now factor in that he did this while learning to dance for 'Wonka', while learning how to play guitar and sing like Bob Dylan for 'A Complete Unknown', and squeezed a pair of 'Dune' movies in there as well?! It becomes hard to imagine anyone having the time for all of this! That doesn't even include his lengthy press tours involving him making the country (and Kylie Jenner) fall in love with him, or any of the Knicks games he's gotta be on the hardwood for! Does this guy ever sleep?!
Chalamet almost sacrificed his eyesight for this movie as well, revealing that the contacts/glasses he wore fucked up his vision for months....
And I know I'm doing a lot of glazing here, but it's difficult not to! Chalamet is simply the man! I mean look at the fucking weird ass rollout he gave his buzzcut....
Nobody else could do that and remain likable!
Yeah it looks like a bizarre scene out of a ping pong horror movie, but did you hear the audio he used?! It's the "CLIT Commander" speech from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back! He really is the Lisan al Gaib!
Kenjac and Gooch actually got to see 'Marty Supreme' at a secret screening earlier this week, and said nothing but great things about the movie and Chalamet's performance….

….and it seems like everyone else who saw it felt the same way. 'Marty Supreme' is getting MAJOR buzz and almost universal praise across the board right now.
It's gonna be a stacked Oscars pool with Leonardo Dicaprio in 'One Battle After Another', Michael B Jordan in 'Sinners', and even Dwayne Johnson in 'The Smashing Machine' making some waves - but I'm pulling for Chalamet to finally get his this year. He should've won last year in my opinion (though for 'Dune: Part 2' NOT 'A Complete Unknown') and seems like he just wants it more! Oh and I want more pictures of Timmy with Lukey Lunchbox.
