Warning: I Am Keeping Track Of Anyone Who Doesn't Have Jeremiah Smith AND Julian Sayin In Their Heisman Rankings

Listen, I’m going to cut right to the chase. I’m sick and tired of the disrespect that The Ohio State Buckeyes are receiving when it comes to Heisman Rankings. 

Jeremiah Smith is simply the best player in the country and he also happens to be on the best team in the country. When has that fact alone not even been enough to make a TOP 15 list? But it’s not just the talent, he has the stats too. He’s caught 6 touchdowns in the last 4 weeks, averaging over 7 catches and over 100 yards in each game while being circled, highlighted, and bracketed by every team and scouting rerport. And he can’t even crack “The Heisman Ladder”

But it’s not just Jeremiah Smith. If you don’t have Jeremiah Smith even on your watch list, you should lose your right to vote. Not just for the Heisman, but in any election whatsoever. But if you don’t have Julian Sayin in your top 5, you get a worse punishment than that, you are getting your name written down in my personal notebook.

I honestly don’t understand how this kid isn’t the far and away favorite right now. He leads the nation, not the conference, the nation, in completion percentage. The only quarterback in America over 80%. He’s number 3 in the country in QB rating. And 8th in touchdowns. He’s the quarterback of the #1 team in the country. They’ve handled their business in every single game this season. Say what you want about Arch Manning being over hyped, but that defense had THREE preseason All-Americans on it. And he beat them in his very first start of his career. Turnover free, a 40 yard touchdown, win over the then ranked #1 team according to the media. And now the media won’t even put him in their Top 16?

More touchdowns, yards, better rating and completion percentage than Carson Beck, but he’s in people’s top 5?

Oh it must be winning…that’s why he’s up there with Dante Moore and Ty Simpson despite slightly worse stats, but their teams have lost. Oh wait Julian is right there stat wise and quarterbacks the unbeaten #1 team in the country.

It makes zero point zero sense why Julian isn’t in the top 5, let alone the top 15. And I know everyone in the media is just itching to find a reason to discredit Ohio State as a team and drop them in the rankings, but it’s flat out ridiculous to punish a kid like this. Julian Sayin isn’t the best quarterback in the country in a few years, he’s the best quarterback in the country right now.
