All The Right Moves Is A Football Movie That Doesn’t Nearly Get The Respect It Deserves

But call me a sucker (which Jersey Jerry did Sunday for LOVING the Cowboys pick) because I took the bait and likely gave this dope exactly what he wanted but here we go, and I don’t really care because it needs to be said.
All The Right Moves needs to be given more respect as a football movie. I’m sure most people out there don’t even remember it or have heard of it or even know what it is, but trust me it’s the most slept on football movie on the planet if you ask me, and as a sports movie overall.
I still remember the first time I watched it, for the like 4 months my Mom allowed my Dad to add HBO to the cable bill growing up, it happened to be on one weekend when I was like 11 or 12 and my Dad set me on the recliner in his room to watch it. I remember thinking it was good at the time and then completely forgot about it for like 10/11 years when it happened to be on again in college where I grew much more appreciation for it having been a kid in high school fighting to play college ball.
Every few years since I make sure to fire it up because it 100000% does not get the respect it deserves. It’s a phenomenal football movie and I’m sick of people not even thinking about listing it their sports or football movie top lists. Drives me insane. The Program is the most dogshit movie there ever was. Also Rudy gets worse and worse the more you watch it (have a big blog planned for that eventually), yet All The Right Moves doesn’t even get a sniff from people even respecting it at all, it’s the movie that time forgot. Damn shame. If you haven’t seen it, trust me go watch it. And be vocal next time you see one of these bullshit lists.
