Sergio Pettis Just Gave Us An EASY KO Of The Year Contender

Can we just take a minute and talk about how insane this knockout from today's PFL card was? From the no-look spinning elbow to the follow up from the depths of hell, it's about as violent and perfect as it gets; an EASY KO of the year contender. And it was in a fight where he was already down (and in enemy territory) to make it even sweeter!

Sergio Pettis, man. He did it to Kyoji Horiguchi years ago, when a vicious spinning backfist sealed his comeback....

....and he unbelievably one-upped himself tonight, doing it to Magomed Magomedov and not holding back on the follow up like he did in 2021.

I'm sure some people are already calling him a scumbag for that (because it obviously didn't seem super necessary), but it's always on the referee to step in and stop the guy. Fighters gotta fight until that point….and Sergio did exactly that. Plus he's in there with a guy trying to take his head off in the exact same fashion - how easy do you think it is to put a stop to that adrenaline on a dime?!

Congrats to Sergio - hell of a knockout.
