Revenge Tour: Dustin Johnson Saw US Get Its Ass Kicked At Bethpage, Wants To Be A Part Of The Team In 2027 Now That He Has Confidence In His Game Again

You know what? Why the hell not? Dustin Johnson was awesome at the Ryder Cup. Dude went 5-0-0 in 2021. He has 12 career Ryder Cup points in 21 matches and is historically one of the better US players from a data standpoint. Plus, it's a perfect storyline in his 6-year retirement tour

Personally, I always like Dustin Johnson. He was fun to watch, he was one of the first guys where it was like holy shit, how far did he hit that drive guys and delivers at the Ryder Cup. Everyone wants to blow up the US team, figure out what went wrong and the answer is so simple. Run back 2021. Sure, we need Europe to have a bad team again, but that 2021 team was the most dominant Ryder Cup team we've seen. Get Steve Stricker back as captain, especially since he actually had a plan and executed it.

Not to mention we'd get Paulina to lead up the wives portion of the Ryder Cup

I will laugh at that picture of DJ taking a photo of Paulina every single time I see it. That's just a promise. Here's what I'll say from a serious standpoint. If Justin Rose can catch a second wind in his career and at 45 can compete in majors and help dominate the Ryder Cup, why not DJ? I know, I know, probably because of LIV and the way that tour runs, but why not? Give us something to believe in.
