Giants Fans Better Pray Daboll Doesn't Start Jaxon Dart Vs This Chargers Defense

It's no secret that the Giants offense is struggling right now. Their O-line stinks (especially without Thomas), Russ can't throw an intermediate ball and seemingly couldn't find Nabers at all yesterday. Now Daboll thinks the move is to give Dart a chance and that would be a HUGE mistake.

So far, they've played 3 teams. 

- The Commies (11th in defensive EPA vs the pass as of week 2)
- The Cowboys (30th in defensive EPA vs the pass as of week 2)
- The Chiefs (27th in defensive EPA vs the pass as of week 2)

The Chargers are 4th in defensive EPA vs the pass. They stymied Patrick Mahomes and Bo Nix, both of whom have much better offensive lines. They've forced as many turnovers as all 3 of those teams combined. They've allowed the 4th fewest 1st downs in the league. Jesse Minter has those boys FLYING down the field.

I say all this to ask a simple question: Why not wait a week? Their matchup after the Chargers is @ the Saints who are are in a dead season. They have a bottom-tier QB leading an offense scoring the 4th fewest points in the NFL. They Have a defense giving up the 7th most points in football. Give the lad a meatball ran by our old coach Brandon Staley instead of a bowl of nails. 

Now, I will be at this game in the Meadowlands alongside my good buddy Clem and there is nothing I would like more than to watch Dart get obliterated and have his confidence shattered. If I was a Giants fan, though, ybet your ass I'd want Russ getting sacrificed at the altar instead. 

Daboll, if you're reading this, here is a tip. Give Russ the green light and have Nabers run directly at #32 every passing down. I promise magic will happen.
