Pablo Torre Has Turned His Sights To Adam Silver And Provided New Evidence That Suggests Silver Was Full Of Shit When He Formally Addressed The Kawhi Leonard Scandal

Last week, following the Board of Governors' Meeting, Adam Silver stepped up to the podium and officially addressed the ongoing investigation into the Kawhi Leonard/Clippers Scandal. Almost immediately, nothing he said on record passed the smell test
As a normal person with no inside info or mounds and mounds of evidence, it sure seemed like the league was laying the early groundwork for what would ultimately end up being a cover up. I couldn't prove it, but that was the feeling I got in my bones watching his presser.
Thankfully, Pablo Torre exists. The more the NBA side tries to make this all disappear, the more Pablo Torre decides to call their bluff and present new and pretty damn incriminating evidence.
Today's subject? Adam Silver.
Based on what Pablo Torre has now presented, it sure sounds like Silver was full of shit during that presser. Let's dive in
Now, I'm not exactly an employee of the NBA's league office, but isn't it logical to assume that it's pretty hard for Adam Silver to "never hear a whiff of anything around an endorsement deal with Kawhi or anything around the engagement with the Los Angeles Clippers" if in fact the actual agreement specifies that everything must be submitted and "expressly approved" by the NBA?
Whoops!
We're supposed to believe that not only is it not Silver who approves those types of things, but whoever in the league office did approve it just never mentioned it to Silver? Ever? Not even a memo or anything?
You see kids, this is why telling the truth is important. When you lie, it only creates more problems. What's crazy is how everyone involved in this from the NBA side doesn't seem to realize that Pablo Torre is not fucking around. This isn't Shams, this is a real sports journalist who HAS RECEIPTS. Every single time someone tries to debunk or discredit Pablo's reporting, he immediately shows you the evidence that destroys their attempt to spinzone things.
My question now is, how does Silver and the NBA explain this one? It's kind of hard to say you had no knowledge and nothing to do with this deal when the actual contract says the exact opposite. So, someone's lying, and my guess is it isn't the guy who is providing the evidence that supports his claims.
Let's just play along and pretend that Silver had no idea any of this was going on, and it was someone else in the league office doing the approvals. I'm not sure that's so great either? Isn't it part of his job to be aware of those things? I'm not saying he needs to know the minute details of the sponsorship deal, but he should probably have a general idea that these things are going on right? Admittedly, I'm a moron, but that seems like Day 1 stuff for a Commissioner in my opinion.
When you combine his presser that felt fishy with now this new evidence from Pablo Torre that very clearly suggests Silver was full of shit, I'm not sure how the NBA could just magically make this all go away. I'm sure they hate Pablo Torre's guts right now, but that's the risk you take when you do some shady shit and then try and gaslight the entire world that there's nothing to see. And guess what? Zero chance this is all that Pablo has. He's absolutely waiting for more people to try and discredit his reporting or suggest nothing is actually like it seems, and then he'll continue to drop the receipts, which is what has made this whole scandal so fun to follow.
So yeah, if you thought we were coming to a conclusion with this whole thing, I have bad news for you. We're clearly only getting started, and lord knows how deep this whole thing goes.
