It's Now More Apparent Than Ever That Any Team Who Doesn't Run The Tush Push Is A Bunch Of Cowards

Welcome back to another NFL season where everyone is going to spend the entire year bitching about the Tush Push because it has broken their brains and they have Tush Push Derangement Syndrome.

Every single season, like clockwork, the Eagles win a bunch of games and everybody freaks out because it has to be the Tush Push. First they claimed that it needs to be banned because it's "not a football play". Once they realized that was the dumbest argument ever, they pivoted to banning the play due to player safety. Once the research and numbers came out that players aren't suffering any additional injuries because of the Tush Push, they needed to find a new slant. So here comes everyone crying about "BUT BUT BUT IT'S AN ILLEGAL MOTION AND A FALSE START".

Naturally, it's nerds like Nate who are leading the charge.

Now listen…are the Eagles going a little early on some of these? Sure. The defense is also lined up in the neutral zone, and they're also going early. So there should be flags on both sides. But I don't get why the Eagles should be penalized because NFL refs suck at their job.

And I especially don't understand how anyone can look at what happened yesterday at Arrowhead Stadium and not immediately think to themselves, "wow, I wish my favorite team ran this play whenever they have the opportunity". The NFL just gave every team the green light to false start when you need to move the chains in short yardage situations. There's no rule that says the Eagles are the only team in the NFL allowed to use the Tush Push. They've been doing it for years, yet no team has been able to recreate it themselves. For a league that is such a copycat league, that is outrageous.

If you're an NFL team right now and you're not spending at least a few minutes at practice every day working on the Tush Push, then you don't deserve to win. Clearly you don't want it. Clearly those short yardage situations don't mean enough to you. Every single team in the league is allowed to run that play, yet every other team would rather just complain about the Eagles' greatness than learn how to run it themselves. They're cowards who aren't willing to put in the work. It takes hours of time in preparation, it takes a critical amount of attention to detail, and it takes putting your body on the line at practice to really lock it in. I guess the Eagles are the only team in the league who are willing to buy in to all of that. And that's the reason why they are Super Bowl Champs.
