NFL 2025 Survivor Pool Journey - Mapping Out The Season And Your Week 3 Pick(s)
WEDNESDAY MORNING POST PLEASE
Week 2 in the books and we're officially still 2/2 in as many entries of this 2025 NFL Survivor Pool journey. No one said this would be easy, but obviously the Cowboys were going to squash the Giants like a bug just like they've done 15 out of their last 16 times before and give us an easy no sweat lock…

Just an insane game. I figured it was over when Dallas failed to score to start OT with the way they were playing defense. Just awful. Thank god I don't have to worry about picking them again. And thank you Baltimore for taking care of business on the other pick.
I don't have a lot of time this week to break down our options, so let me just hit you with my two picks and the updated map for the season.
Entry 1/2 (BUFFALO vs Miami)

Week 3 doesn't look amazing and we're still trying to figure out who teams are in the early going here. We've accomplished this with the Dolphins - I can say that. Only team in (at least) the last 26 years to give up points on every drive for the first game of the year through the second game's first half (minus the one-play kneel down drive to end the half on Sunday). This team flat stinks. The 2019 LOLphins are back baby, and they might be finding their way on the right-side of these graphics more and more coming up.
They say don't pick division games. Well much like the Giants 1-16 recent record vs the Cowboys, the Dolphins are 2-13 in their last 15 vs the Bills. I'm OK with taking this as the certain most popular pick of the week again. We took a couple risky picks in Week 1. Now is the time to lay back and get a sense for the teams moving forward. Lot of shuffling yet to come, I'm sure.
Entry 2/2 (GREEN BAY at Cleveland)

The one thing that scares here is I know Jordan Love struggles vs pressure. But this is the Browns. Can't be too scared of an "NFL makes no sense" game. Even on the road.
Let's get through this week with a couple layups and maybe we reconfigure the road map from there.
See you in the other side. Or maybe not.
