What Are The Odds: Moisés Ballesteros Hits His First Career Home Run.. And It Lands Directly On Anthony Rizzo In The Bleachers

How can you not be romantic about baseball? Anthony Rizzo has been all over the media after his retirement this week, including a stop at Wake Up Barstool: 

And while I still haven't seen a video of Rizzo making a beer snake in the bleachers yet (it's only the third inning), what a cool moment for Ballesteros who hit a direct nuke to Rizzo himself. Imagine Rizzo actually caught the ball and decided that he's keeping it for some great resale value? The negotiations between Rizzo and the Cubs to try getting the ball back would be scenes. 

Zach Hample is somewhere crying because you know he wanted to be there to ruin that moment for everyone involved. He woulda taken that ball and sprinted so far away from Rizzo and the cameras before you could blink. Anyway, a tip of the cap to Rizzo for the fabulous career and the next time someone says that sports aren't magical, just show them this moment.
