This Nico Iamaleava Lowlight Tape Is Crack Cocaine for the Hater's Soul
I have watched this video 26 times. It somehow defies the Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns, because each view is better than the last. Every ball that sails beyond a receiver's outstretched arms fills my soul with a joy that I didn't even know was possible.
Iamaleava finished his first game at UCLA 11-22 for 136 yards, one TD and one INT with several overthrows that made it apparent his issues may simply not be fixable. If things keep going the way they seem to be trending, he's going to be one of the most fascinating case studies in the history of college football.
My brain tells me I should feel bad for Nico. He has taken advice from people who are leading him terribly astray and he might end up losing tens or hundreds of millions of dollars because of it — ironically, all because he wanted to shake down Tennessee for $2 million more. But I just can't do it. You're an adult making adult decisions and this is where those choices have led you. Them's the breaks, brother.
Unfortunately for UCLA, all Nico sales are final. No refunds or returns. Now I'm gonna watch the video again.
