Nebraska Football Posted a "Herbie Husker Cucking Travis Kelce" Photoshop After Beating Cincinnati (And Were Bullied Into Deleting It)

God damn it Nebraska! You got a big win (kinda) last night over the Cincinnati Bearcats, and you followed it up by taking to social media and doing the only thing you unequivocally cannot do. People will argue whether or not the Nebraska Cornhuskers should post a photoshopped Herbie Husker in an intimate moment prepared to suck face with Taylor Swift following a Week 1 win over Cincinnati. Implying that Taylor Swift was so ravished by watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers skate by her fiance's alma mater, that she felt inclined to ditch him for the most inbred looking mascot in college football. Some will say that's a "weird" thing to do. Other's might say it's the funniest post they've ever seen, and that's what Taylor Swift gets for INSERTING HERSELF into football, and RUINING THE GAME for all of us. But the one thing that 100% of people on both sides of the Taylor Swift fence will agree that you cannot do, is post the fucking tweet, then promptly get scared off by the Swifties and delete the whole thing like it never happened.

Herbie Husker either cucked Travis Kelce or he didn't. There's no dipping your toes in the mascot-fucking-a-pop-star waters to test the temperature. Maybe you can get away with that with some pop stars, but if you release Herbie Husker & Taylor Swift in a sexual embrace into the universe for even a second, the Swifties are going to grab it. And they're not going to say, "No worries, Nebraska! I'm sure that was just one person who made an ill-advised decision. Thanks for deleting, and good luck this season!"

Once you let that tweet fly, you might as well own it. You might as well double down and post a feature length AI-video of Herbie Husker marrying Taylor Swift in a Nebraska cornfield.

It's great to have college football BACK. Everyone loves the big plays, the crazy upsets, and all the moments that happen on the field of play. But beyond on that, I always enjoy watching how different college football social media teams navigate the internet. Some do a great job. Some play it safe. And others are a ticking time bomb, liable to land their university in hot water at the drop of a tweet.

Good stuff, Nebraska. And good luck in your, "Taylor Swift Defend Her Honor Game" vs Michigan on September 20th.
