A Jerry Jones Masterclass: Rambled For 11 Minutes Straight, Kept Calling Micah Parsons 'Michael' And Claimed The Cowboys Can Now Be Successful In The Playoffs

We all know about the Micah Parsons trade, but all I can think about is the Jerry Jones masterclass of a press conference. It was everything that you'd want from a guy who still thinks it's 1993, a guy who has never been told no in his life and a guy who has no idea how to win anymore. It started with an 11 minute ramble

Whenever I see something like that all I can think about is Donald Sterling's 'the question was is that your handwriting?'. But we knew Jerry Jones liked to hear himself speak. You could ask him is the sky blue and he'd talk for 11 minutes about how he bought the Cowboys with a handshake and how good it was in the 90s. Instead he decided to humiliate himself even more here:

I mean, come on, he knows what he's doing here. He's said Michael Parsons all throughout the hold out and trade request, now he's just rubbing it in. Nothing like having your son sit there and have to try and correct you. Can't wait for Stephen to run the Cowboys too, gotta keep it going with just constantly saying dumb shit. Speaking of dumb shit.

I love every second of it. Never got the impression that Micah Parsons wanted out of Dallas, just a trade request and putting out tweets about being done never gave it away. Throw in the more successful in the playoffs and talking about stopping the run now because of Kenny Clark. It's just the perfect Jerry Jones situation. He lost, he doesn't understand that he lost and now is basically lashing out and trying to twist everything around. Almost have to feel bad for Cowboys fans, but they did this to themselves. Also Cowboys fans are fucking assholes, so it's impossible to feel bad for them. Never change, Jerry, never change.
