Gotta Set The Tone: 73-Year Old Pete Carroll Hopped On The Raiders Defense, Jumped Into The Pile To Practice Stopping The Tush Push
The fact that we don't have video of this is a problem. I'm aware, it sucks. We should have videos of everything in the year 2025. But when I see numerous reporters talking about it, I trust them. We all know NFL reporters would never dare lie or exaggerate anything. But this isn't necessarily just about the man trying to stop the tush push. First, the man is 73-years old. That's got broken hip written all over it, even if the man is a bit of a lunatic
He's changed the feeling of the Raiders and personality of the Raiders
He knows how to win, he knows how to compete. If that means showing the rest of the defense how to stop the tush push by doing it himself, he'll do it. Just picture Carroll trying to jump over the line and break it up that way. Maybe this is the secret to stopping it? Have we considered getting a few old guys in great shape out there to mix it up? I say we let Pete play one defensive snap this season.

If we had to rank the top-5 head coaches to line up and help stop the tush push I think I'd go:
5. Jim Harbaugh
4. Pete Carroll
3. Mike Vrabel
2. DeMeco Ryans
1. Dan Campbell, duh
Those 5 can do it. Throw in Andy Reid as a space eater and we got a solid front 6. Either way, Pete Carroll is a fucking insane coach and the more I think about it the more he fits the Raiders. He was destined to be a Raiders head coach. Also a dual threat quarterback:
