Scott Hanson Made The Most Important Announcement Of The Offseason - He Ain't Leaving RedZone, Even With The Move To ESPN

Been a little too much Scott Hanson speculation this offseason for my liking. First, his contract was up and there were rumors he was going to leave RedZone for something else. Second, we have this new ESPN deal. Everyone screaming that they are going to be Stephen A. Smith yelling at me on RedZone because they have to put him on every show. I'm pretty sure that's in his contract. Luckily, the king spoke to us

Thank fucking God. I'm sure they'll try to find a way to ruin it. I'm willing to trade a few commercials to just keep it only Scott Hanson. That would ease all our minds and keep some of the people away from the show that no one wants to see. I'm not even a RedZone only type person. It's important to have on TV2 while your team is playing. It's the perfect idea when you don't find yourself interested in just one game. But there's something about Scott Hanson's voice that just soothes it. I said it in the last blog, I'm a man who likes tradition. Scott Hanson yelling about witching hour and making the jokes is something I'm used to and I'm not willing to change.

I don't care for all of this business type news as we get preseason football underway. I just want to watch Hard Knocks, make fun of the Cowboys and have a little bit of hope. We can't be worried about what game is going to be on what channel, who is hosting what. Get that shit done in May. But for now we know we have Scott Hanson with us.
