'Its Buffalo Versus The World' - The Bills Hard Knocks Trailer Dropped And It's Impossible Not To Be Dreaming About Football Now
There's something about hearing that music that just gets a little chill on your spine. I said it before, worth saying again, no one wants to rush summer. I think the whole 'summer sucks as an adult' shtick that has been gaining momentum lately is dumb. Summer is still awesome. You get to golf, you get to go the pool or lake or beach, yeah it's hot, but then you bitch when it's 12 degrees out too. But right now, there's just nothing on TV sports wise. I'm watching the 3M Open and it's fine, it doesn't move me.
Getting a little bit of football tease makes your balls tingle just enough to start dreaming of the season. Maybe right now you're firing up the group chat with the boys to plan a fantasy draft date, pick a game out and go to as a group or figure out what weekend everyone can get together to just watch games at a bar. We're getting dangerously close to losing our shit because a 3rd wide receiver had a good practice. Breakout guy they like to say.
I know people have been down on Hard Knocks lately. It's been neutered a bit, lost its luster and hard to capture a lot of new stuff when we have access to teams all the time anyways. But it's still football and it's an obvious choice to be the Bills. They are coming off yet another playoff disaster, Josh Allen is one of the faces of the NFL and Keon Coleman is going to be all over the cameras. I'm intrigued at least to see how they are on camera.
It's more the hope for sports on TV again. You hear that music and you know what's quickly coming and that's sitting your ass down in front of a screen for hours to watch football on the weekend. No one wants to watch bad baseball in July and that's what we're stuck with right now.
