A Chicago Bears Fan Brought A "Da Pope" Shirt With Them For Mass In Italy To Give To The Pope, And He Proudly Accepted It

I saw this on twitter and thought I was getting played by an AI generated image again. That was just a little too perfect.

Plus, when was the last time this world had a leader of any sort, never mind a man who leads 1.4 BILLION people worldwide, that actually leaned into something lighthearted and funny? God-forbid (pun intended but not intended) somebody actually doesn't take themselves super seriously, and plays along with something people are entertained by.

For me, there's no other messenger from God in my lifetime. Maybe Tom Brady, but Pope Leo is gaining on him. The fact this guy isn't a total weirdo makes him immediately likeable. And the fact that he's a proud Bears and White Sox fan shows that he too, like Christ, prefers the company of losers and whores, to the nobles.

Plus, do you ever think about what an absolutely wild timeline we are living in.

Il Papa himself, is from freaking little old Dolton, IL. And would probably have to plead the fifth if you asked him point blank MFK- Jordan, Ditka, Kane? And proudly accepts a tee shirt the Munoz Family (shout out Munoz family from Chicago), bought from the guy at Wrigley who sits out in front of Gate D selling them, with them to Mass in little old Albano, Italy. A small town just south of Rome. Crazy times.
