Tesla Dropped Its First "Tesla Diner", A 24/7 Retro-Futuristic Restaurant And Supercharger In LA And It's Honestly Pretty Sick
Listen, I don't want to be one of those Elon Musk fanboys that thinks him breathing is the coolest thing that'll happen today, but this diner concept is actually pretty cool. Am I just blinded by the huge screens and awesome looking diner that will probably soon have LED issues and french fries all over the floor after someone's kid wanted to go back in their big bad Tesla? Probably, but making what is essentially a Tesla gas station cool and actually maybe worth a little bit of a sit-down is kinda sick.
I didn't see a single non-Tesla car in any of the videos I watched, and apparently any car can go, but part of me kinda wanted this to be a Soho House for Tesla owners. Sorry buddy, you and your Camry are not coming through these parts, but Eddie can waltz his way in from Chicago if he wants because he's apart of the club. And honestly the menu doesn't seem that expensive, especially in LA standards:
The only thing that could make this cooler is if they managed to get a liquor license and serve up a brew or two up top in what would probably be one of the coolest looking bars in LA as seen with a robot pouring popcorn:
But logic tells me that's obviously a stupid idea considering this is meant to be a rest-stop for Tesla owners who are about to hit the road, so let's keep the alcohol away from this place.
And if you're as easily impressed by shit as I am, maybe the Tesla Diner will be in a city near you soon:
