We Got The Official Teaser Trailer For Stranger Things Season 5 And It Looks Fucking AWESOME

LETS FUCKING COOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!!

I'll admit that I was a bit skeptical about what today's trailer was going to include considering the taste of a teaser we got with the release announcement last month was basically just reheated leftovers from the previous four seasons. But holy shit that looked awesome. And fun. And creepy. And intense. And probably a little scary for a big ol' bitch like me.

To be fair, those are all the words we hoped would be used to describe this season after Season 4 ended three whole years ago. But to see the creators (seemingly) actually make it worth the wait and apparently emptying the tank on everything they have in the Stranger Things universe is great to see. I could be dead wrong, but it feels like Netflix allows their show runners to take their time in order to get everything right with minimal notes from the outside, which allows them to make the best show possible unlike some other media companies.

Since Season 4 of Stranger Things somehow ended before Andor Season 1 began, a lot of people have forgotten just how incredible that season was and how much depth it added to the show. I think when people do a rewatch before Season 5, they will be even more excited to see how everything ends while also being terrified about their favorite characters dying (I've come to grips with everyone getting got except for Dustin and my sweet sweet Nancy Wheeler).

I cannot wait to discuss this trailer in the basement tomorrow with Robbie. Until then, here is our breakdown following the Season 4 finale from back when Jacob deGrom, Max Scherzer, Chris Bassitt, and Taijuan Walker were still on the Mets.
