The Most 'Kirk Cousins' Thing About Kirk Cousins Is That He Shows Up To Get His Haircut Using His Roster Headshot As A Reference

Okay so right off the hop, we all know what's going on here. Not only is Kirk Cousins getting a fresh little cut, but he's also wetting his beak a little. Clearly this is an ad for Great Clips. Kirky Boy doesn't seem like the type of guy who is interested in any lucrative endorsement deals. It wouldn't shock me to find out he has a deal with Great Clips where he doesn't even get paid at all, he just gets free haircuts for life. So while he may be trying to slide an ad by everybody here, there's also no doubt in my mind that this is exactly how every haircut for Kirk Cousins has gone over the past decade.

There comes a time in every man's life when you change your hairstyle for the last time. You reach a certain point of life on Earth, and that's your haircut for the rest of time. No deviating at any point. You keep it short, you keep it simple, you know exactly what to tell the barber when they ask "so what are we doing today", and you go on about the rest of your day. To me, it signifies when a man has become the most complete version of himself.

Patrick Mahomes hasn't reached that point in his life yet. He just changed up his haircut. Guys like Joe Burrow are always toying with new looks. Even Tom Brady went through a ton of different styles during his career.

But not Kirk Cousins. He's a man who knows exactly who and what he is. He's a 1, and then you fade it up. To some, it may sound like a haircut. But to Kirk Cousins, that is who he is as a man. It might not be anything too flashy. It might not be a haircut that is built for primetime. But it gets the job done. It's a haircut that gets contracts. For an affordable price, too. Can't take that for granted in today's economy.
