PAT RILEY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WAKE UP

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Father God please wake Pat Riley up from his never ending nap. For years we have suffered from this old man’s lack of ability to make moves to get this team over the hump. All I ask is for you to give him a little nudge on his old noggin so he can open his eyes and see that both Damian Lillard and Giannis are available. Lord we have been trying to sign these guys for over two years now and I truly believe that if you wake him up that the Miami Heat can be great again. 

Something special is happening in South Florida right now and it doesn’t feel right that our former godfather is sound asleep in his nursing home. So please God, please wake Pat Riley up. Please give him the strength to pick up the phone and not make a player who averages 10 minutes a game “untouchable” while he’s in trade talks for a top 10 player in the league.
