FLEECED: The Giants Traded Darren Waller (Retired, Current Musician) To The Dolphins For A Real Draft Pick
In the middle of the NBA soap opera, we got this. The Giants getting a real, actual draft pick for Darren Waller and all I can think about is how we fleeced the Dolphins. Remember, this is Darren Waller:
The same guy who decided it was time to retire mid-game because he had to block 3 times in a row for a 6th rounder? FLEECED. Or, you know, the current musician with one of the most absurd music videos out there
No doubt that at one point Darren Waller was a really good tight end, that time is not now. This is a savvy move by the Giants, something I haven't said in damn near a decade. I don't care it's a 6th round pick, it's a future player who wasn't currently retired. I know, I know, he's unretiring to play for the Dolphins. You think I care about that? Absolutely not. He wasn't playing for the Giants and we got a real life draft pick for it.

Need to see the Dolphins make Darren Waller line up in a weird spot week 1 now. See if he's really ready to unretire and throw a few blocks. Trade of the day, maybe even the year. This is why you keep Joe Schoen for another year. Let him and Brian Daboll have a chance to build something without Daniel Jones.
