Jeremiah Smith Has Promised Never To Lose To Michigan Again

So Jeremiah Smith talked to Manny Navarro from The Athletic about his freshman season and what's next, and while the entire article is full of gems (such as him gaining 20 pounds of solid muscle) that quite literally have blood rushing to just below my belt, he dropped this absolute bombshell about Michigan:

“I’m not a sore loser, but I hate losing, and losing to that team up north was pretty crazy,” Smith said. “In the end, I think it really helped us play the way we did in the playoffs. But I didn’t want to go to Ohio State and lose to that team up north. I just hate them. Just something about them. For the next two years, I promise you, I will not lose to them. I can’t lose to them in the next two years.”

MY KING! MY GOAT! And when his words become true on November 29th....MY SAVIOR!

If Jeremiah Smith says it, you can take it to the bank. He's already the best player in college football (and was at age 18), he's a 99 overall in the video game, and he'd go #1 overall in not just his draft (2 years away), not just next year's draft if he were eligible, but last year's draft if teams could take him. Cam Ward better thank his lucky stars, as well as the players union and owners for negotiating the eligibility rules, that he was able to get that fame and money this year. If you could declare for the draft whenever you want, I honestly think #4 would gone #1 as early as like, 8th grade?

But that's not the point of this blog. The point of this blog is that I'm officially back. Yeah they've won their 4 in a row, no doubt about it. They should be able to chirp (although I think 2 or 3 of them will be vacated here soon). But guess what? I can chirp again too. Because we just beat Michigan. I know it technically hasn't happened yet, but if Jeremiah Smith says it's happening for not one but at least the next two years....then thy will be done. In fact, I'm banning Michigan fans from tweeting the "days since" number at me. I might start tweeting it at them now. In 2 years, they will have not beaten us in 2 years.

Jeremiah Smith has promised victory the next two seasons. Book it.
