The Trailer For Season 2 Of "Wednesday" Is Here And I Really Hope It Lives Up To Season 1
When "Wednesday" came out something came over me that just....I became so obsessed with it. I wore my hair like Wednesday, I was listening to a lot more Rolling Stones - I identify with her faux angst!! The Addams Family nostalgia took me over and I was hooked, line and sinker. That being said....
I am woman enough to admit that Wednesday is a juvenile show. It's more for kids than for adults, and though I can toe the line into Young Adult where my content interests are concerned, I worry after seeing this trailer that I have grown out of it. I hope not!! I'm still going to watch!!!! But I'm going to need some bumps in the night to get my blood pumping like I did for season 1.
Another interesting thing about this new season is that one of the main characters, legitimately like, 3rd main guy, is now kicked off the show. How they'll explain his character's absence, I'm not sure. Maybe they replace him? Seems crazy. Maybe they bring one of the other characters further to the front of the line? Who knows. At the very least, I need to see how they smooth that over.
Everything else, fine. We're getting silly with the roomate again, looks like Wednesday's brother Pugsly will be heading to school too, that's a fun new element - lots of funny double entendre lines from Catherine Zeta Jones on the horizon, I hope, and overall I'm just excited to keep the vibe going. The original came out around Halloween, and this one will be split into two drops (the Bridgerton treatment). Netflix has put a LOT OF MONEY and time into this second season - I hope it's all worth it!!
