The Newest Rumor To Find The Giants QB Savior - Brian Daboll Apparently Loves Jaxson Dart, Team Is Still Split On Drafting Shedeur Sanders

There is a belief around the league that certain segments of the Giants organization want Sanders more than others. Per sources, Sanders wants to be in a place where he has the full support of an organization, and there are questions about whether the Giants fit into that category.

Ah, it was only a matter of time before we got another report of who will be the Giants quarterback savior. This time we can welcome Jaxson Dart to the mix. Not exactly shocking, I'm pretty sure the Giants have been linked to every quarterback in this draft. At one point it was Cam Ward, then the Giants won a meaningless game late in the season and cost themselves the No. 1 pick. Then it was Shedeur Sanders before apparently everyone turned on everyone when it came to drafting him. Then names like Jalen Milroe, Tyler Shough and even Will Howard became linked to the Giants in some way.

And now, it's Jaxson Dart. 

It's not just Jaxson Dart, it's trading back up in the first round to take Jaxson Dart. Let me be very clear, this team needs a quarterback of the future. This team hasn't had a quarterback of the future since Eli Manning. Russ and Jameis are just holdover pieces until someone in the Giants front office correctly drafts a quarterback again. At the same time, this team sucks. There are some nice pieces, but as a whole? This team is miserable to watch. Offensive line needs help, could add a couple pieces to the defense, probably still need another wide receiver to pair with Nabers. It's not like a quarterback turns this team into a playoff team all of a sudden. 

I've said it before, but the Giants have forced me into a feeling of apathy as a fan. It's worse than being pissed off at this franchise. Yeah, it might make sense to draft Abdul Carter at 3 and try to get Jaxson Dart. But do I think it will work? No. Because nothing has worked with this team. 

This is just the start of Draft week though. I fully expect about 10 different reports on what the Giants are doing until that 3rd pick on Thursday. I still don't understand how you're this torn on Shedeur Sanders. Either you want to take him 3rd overall or you take Carter/Hunter. This just screams John Mara demanding Sanders while others don't think he's the answer. Great spot to be in when the entire franchise has been awful. So welcome Jaxson Dart, you're the newest guy to be viewed as the savior of this franchise.
