Dame Lillard Talks Shit From The Bench After The Pacers Go Belt 2 Ass Against The Bucks In Game 1

Belt 2 Ass! Never in doubt. The most exciting this game got was the Bucks bringing it within 15 points? I don't want to put too much stock into the first game of a playoff series, but are the Pacers the greatest team to ever play the game of basketball? I think so, despite the "experts" still giving Indiana ZERO respect.

Giannis is great, he's a tank, getting fouled driving to the basket is all part of his game. I already know he's going to get an obscene amount of calls, some with the whistle only a super star would get - fine. BUT, why do we have a shot clock on free throws if the ref is going to hold the ball for an eternity while Giannis goes throw his shooting motion. It's such a minor annoyance that over time will make me crash out. This is his typical behavior, but he'll need every second of rest if he wants to have anything left in the tank by the end of this series. Giannis is doing it all alone, despite Dame doing his best to contribute from the bench with empty shit talk.

Who would have thought the Kyle Kuzma experiment wouldn't work? Before the Pacers got Pascal Siakam, the Pacers were always tied to a trade with Kuzma, and if that went through, I would have put my head in an oven. Today, I felt validated.

While it was a consistent team effort from the Pacers, Indiana's X-factor goes to Myles Turner. HE DID EVERYTHING WELL - especially in the 4th quarter when the game needed to be closed out. Turner was scrapping with Giannis for rebounds, and popping DAGGERS into the heart of the Bucks. Turner contributed a lot that won't show up on a highlight reel, but gets you respect in among Indiana fans, and more importantly wins basketball games. Whatever it takes to keep this man on the roster, do it.

Now we wait until Tuesday to see how the Bucks respond to Indiana taking a 1-0 lead. The way these teams got into it in the 4th, I'm expecting fireworks from two teams that hate each other. Defend home court, and Indiana wins the series. I predicted Pacers in 6, but if Giannis' supporting cast decides to not show up for another game, It's CERS in 4. SWEEP THE BUCKS!!!!
