The Minecraft Movie Has A Scene That Is Causing Kids To Trash Theaters With Popcorn, Bring Live Chickens To Shows, And Even Get Kicked Out By Cops

I don't know if I've ever loved and hated a movement at the same time more in my life than this Minecraft nonsense. 

On one hand, having fun around a bunch of people in a giant theater that love the same thing that you do is what going to the movies is all about. It's the reason Jeff D. Lowe does what he can to stop the Steven Cheahs of the world from destroying the movie theater industry one negative review at a time. I saw Endgame in the theater five different times just to experience the reactions of all the craziness that happened and every single time it was a 1000000/10, with the Portals scene reactions still giving me goosebumps til this day.

At the same time, you are a certifiable asshole if you trash a movie theater, full stop. I don't care what the reason is or how much you love the chicken jockey, which my washed up ass admittedly knows nothing about. Wasting perfectly good movie popcorn then making some poor bastard making minimum wage clean it up is an asshole move. If my kids were caught doing this shit, they wouldn't watch anything on a screen until they were 18 and allowed to leave the house (saying No Screens at the Casa de Clem is essentially like dropping a nuke on my kids' lives because that means no iPad, TV, YouTube, or video games which is their Big 4).

I knew Gen Alpha was probably already fucked based on the world they were born into let alone the one they will inherit when they are older. But seeing these kids treated like conquering heroes for fucking up a theater hammered that point home.

The messed up thing is I think there is a time and place for shit like this just like there is one for assholes that sing during Wicked. But that would be a special show where the theater can give out stuff to throw as you shoot silly string or something. But doing it in a regular theater with regular folks and not cleaning it up is the true mark of an asshole and anyone who says different is a colossal asshole.
