Lebron James Lasted All of 12 Hours Before Trying to Make the Gold Medal All About Himself

Lebron James is the gift that keeps on giving. Having dipped on the Olympics to promote the awful, horrible, no good Space Jam: The Return, he could barely make it half a day before trying to turn the spotlight from the Gold Medal that Team USA just won onto himself.

Yes, he really did just quote tweet a random international highlight clip from a Lebron Stan Account showing his highlights from the 2007 FIBA Americas Tournament (2nd round) game against URUGUAY. Seems appropriate to point out that according to RealGM no player from Uruguay has ever played in the NBA. 

This is the perfect Lebron tweet. He saw Kevin Durant and Michael Jordan trending and he just could not help himself. He had to force his way into the conversation almost suggesting those Uruguay highlights are about as impressive as KD’s gold medal stretch. 

Of course, he had to throw up the praying hands emoji and a crown for the 14 year old that remembered that historic 11-11 performance against five dudes who couldn’t win a game at Rucker Park.
