Addison Rae Cancelled? TikTok Star Under Fire For Saying Hi To Donald Trump
You may remember on Saturday that Addison Rae was getting "dragged" all over Twitter. Various media members (or wanna-be media members) were accusing her of making a mockery of their career and taking away a job from them.
It turned out that one tweet wasn't the whole story and she wasn't even working for UFC. The tweet was just a joke, as she did go to broadcasting school at LSU for 3 months before she blew up on TikTok.
Addison did end up attending UFC 264 that night and even answered some questions on the same red carpet that she took the photo on in the now-infamous tweet.
Addison Rae over the past year or so has been spending time with Kourtney Kardashian and in true Kardashian fashion, her tweet was just the appetizer for the main event of the evening.
The most known man in the building? Donald Trump. He sat in front of the Nelk Boys, and to the left of Addison Rae. The TikTok star took this as an opportunity to go say hi to the former president:
This video has gone viral on various platforms....this isn't Rae's first run-in with being called a "Trump supporter." She went viral this summer for having a Trump flag on her floor.
Which turned out to NOT be a Trump flag as it was just an Old Navy shirt?
Anyways, the video of her saying hi to Trump (who had absolutely no idea who she was) has millions upon millions of views. Most of the comments on TikTok are in support of Addison, but you wouldn't know it looking at Twitter:
Or on BuzzFeed, Complex, EliteDaily and other media outlets.
Not that I feel bad for Addison Rae, but it's gotta be hell out there sometimes. Fame can really be a curse. The life you live as a truly famous person is significantly different to the normal person. It's kind of sad when you think about it. Going to the grocery store can be hell. Just saying hi to a former president has you trending. She's 20 years old, she probably is just starting to think about politics. Hell she may haven't even started. Yeah, she's got millions of dollars and followers, but as they say: be careful what you wish for.
