I'm Going to be on the NXT Takeover Preshow this Sunday

When I was nine years old, I would watch my worn-out copy of Wrestlemania III on a near-nightly basis. And I'd always turn down the volume so I could provide my own commentary on Savage-Steamboat. The only audience was No, our basset hound, and possibly my dad who was passed out on the couch.

That was a long time ago.

Now, though, I get to say what I want to say and people might actually listen.

This Sunday, I'll be at NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day to take part in the preshow festivities because I believe they want a 41-year-old obese father of four perspective on the show. Don't they all?
The preshow starts at 6 p.m. ET, with the main show - a 5-match card - starting at 7.

If you are a fan of NXT, I don't have to tell you how great Takeovers are. NXT Takeover shows, which began in 2014, are the most consistently awesome shows across professional wrestling. They simply don't have bad shows.

And this one will be main-evented by NXT champ Finn Balor, the first-ever WWE Universal champ, against challenger Pete Dunne, who is as violently entertaining as a wrestler can get. I'll have more blogs to lay out the specifics, but this is huge for me, for Rasslin' and for Barstool Sports.

Barstool has afforded me an opportunity to produce content using my passion for wrestling, and it has grown beyond expectations in a very short period of time.

This week was huge for Rasslin', as it will be capped off by the NXT show. But earlier this week, I was able to interview one of the bright young stars in wrestling, 2021 Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair. We talked for 25 minutes about her meteoric rise, and she recommended Crossfit to me as a way to stop embarrassing myself in physical activity.
