What Is the Best Candy to Mix Into Popcorn?

Other than sporting events, going to movies is what I miss most since we have entered the world post-COVID. I went to a movie damn near every Saturday morning just to go relax for a couple hours and eat popcorn. It's my happy place.

Well today in the office, we got to talking about the best candy to mix in with your popcorn. There seemed to be three main camps emerge, with people divided among Raisinetes, Buncha Crunch and Sno-Caps.

Now let me start by saying anyone riding for Raisinets can go get fucked. Nobody with any sense wants dried fruit mixed in with movie theater popcorn, one of life's greatest pleasures. It's a bad candy on its own or with popcorn and does not deserve anywhere near the number of votes it has received.

Then we have Buncha Crunch, a truly elite movie theater candy. And I would be totally fine having this as my popcorn mix-in for the rest of time. Buncha Crunch takes the best candy bar of all-time and condenses it into fun, bite-sized pieces perfect for tossing in with some buttery popcorn and going to town. I would not judge anybody for making this choice.

But some of y'all have never had Sno-Caps in popcorn and it shows. The fact that those delicious semi-sweet chocolate candies covered in white nonpareils currently sit in third place is simply unacceptable. I actually enjoy this candy exclusively to mix with popcorn. It's what it was made for.

Buncha Crunch will be fine on its own; I don't need to worry about it. But if Sno-Caps doesn't have me mixing it with my popcorn, it has nothing. Nobody is going to the store and coming home with a couple boxes of Sno-Caps.

So there are actually two acceptable answers here, I just prefer one more than the other. But literally nobody should be putting raisins in popcorn.
