People Helping People: El Chapo's Sons Are Reportedly Threatening Violence On Anybody That Breaks Quarantine Curfew

One of the better things that have come from this pandemic is seeing people around the world doing their part to try and #StopTheSpread. It could be billionaires buying masks for major cities, media companies offering free access to premium content to make the hours inside to a little quicker (check out Barstool Gold right now), or cartels threatening to fuck up anybody that fucks up the quarantine.

Mirror- Two of El Chapo's sons have imposed a coronavirus curfew on a town under their cartel's control, according to local media. Iván Archivaldo Guzmán and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán have threatened those who disobey the restrictions with beatings with boards, arrest or fines, the Yucatan Times reported.

"This is no game, we’re not playing," a member of the Sinaloa Cartel reportedly said in one of several videos circulating on social media. "After ten o’clock at night, all the people must be inside their homes due to the coronavirus, otherwise they will be punished, these are orders "from above (from Los Chapitos)," the video said, referring to the brothers.

Sure, beating someone with a board is messed up on paper. But so is willfully breaking curfew at a time when a super infectious disease is spreading, killing people, and taking away everything we love. If you can't go inside your house by 10 pm after seeing this:

You kiiiiiinda deserve to get your ass kicked by a cartel, right? I know cartels are no bueno most of the time. I watched Breaking Bad. But like Rico Bosco says, #somethings. It's not like the supervillains don't occasionally fight on the same side of superheroes when they have a common enemy that is bigger than whatever differences they have. I happen to subscribe to the saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" and coronavirus is about as big a baddie as we have on the planet right now. Los Chapitos (which is a sweet ass nickname if we are being honest) are just using their god-given talents they were blessed with to make the world a better place, which is nice to see even if that talent is doling out pain.

P.S. As someone who remembers the Jordan-esque run El Chapo went on escaping from prison, I am SHOCKED he hasn't figured out a way to sneak out of jail during a pandemic that has shut down the entire world.
