THE U IS BACK!!!

Certain human beings walking this Earth were put here to fulfill a very specific purpose. The vast majority of us are just here to exist, nothing more nothing less. But for those select chosen ones, the ones touched with responsibilities far beyond our realm of comprehension, they are vital to the very fabric of our societal being. One of those humans is Ed Reed, and his purpose in life is football. Playing it, coaching it, Baltimore, Miami, doesn't matter. As long as he's around a football field, a large patch of grass which could conceivably play host to a game of pigskin, the ham section of a grocery store, any of it, he's on the right path. And for The U to have been so close to being back just a few short years ago, this was the exact move they needed to make in order to right the ship.

Now, to be completely honest with you all here today: I don't know what a Chief of Staff looks like for a college football program. Sounds like the phrase "Head Coach" with more importance built into it. Miami already had a head coach, clearly believes in something there, but also can tell something else is lacking enough to bring Reed in as the Head Honcho of all things football. And I love it. Bringing The U back to glory is part of Ed Reed's destiny. I hope the Clemsons and the Alabamas of the world enjoyed the last 20 years, because the next 20 minimum belong to Miami.
