Here are the Nominees for Steven Cheah's 2019 Block of the Year

As a guy who watches the All-22 every week for my beloved Buccaneers, I’ve taken a particular shining to likeminded souls in the twittersphere. There is a very wide ranging group of film junkies out there grinding the tape each week and everyone seems to have a different focus. Some people are team specific (like myself for the Bucs) and some are position specific (like offensive lineman or wide receivers). It all just exposes me to lots of great tape that I wouldn’t come across otherwise and so at the end of 2017 I started taking down some of my favorite blocks and decided to create an official award appropriately titled, Block of the Year. Previous winners are coincidentally both Philadelphia Eagles; Right Tackle Lane Johnson (2017) and Center Jason Kelce (2018). Below are those award winning blocks:

The process has evolved to and the past two seasons I’ve taken fan nominations as well as blocks I’ve come across in my own scrolling. I then whittle down the top entrants down to four choices to make a video cut-up showing each block and open up a fan vote. Who will win the 2019 Block of the Year? That’s up to YOU! Voting will be open until Sunday 1/19 at 11:59pm EST with the winner announced on The Yak on Monday. So without further ado, here are the nominees for the 2019 Block of the Year:
