Big Al Just Came Through And Stole All Of America's Hearts

Feels like every year the LLWS drops from the clouds into all of our living rooms and one kid instantly stands out amongst the pack. I don’t want to jump the gun and crown him king because I haven’t seen every team yet but Big Al is a star through and through. I have no idea how a 12-year old can have the voice of an aging Mafia don but that’s just what makes Big Al Big Al. You throw a pitch high and tight to Big Al and you wake up with a horse’s head in your bed and a fresh pair of cement shoes around your ankles. I picture Big Al’s game to be very Adam Dunn/Joey Gallo-esque. No need for singles or any of that small time jazz. Dingers or bust. This was such an electric six seconds that I’m already more interested in Big Al’s next two weeks than I am for the next two years of Mike Trout’s career.
